Solicitar la entrada del usuario mientras lee el archivo línea por línea

Para la clase, necesito escribir un script Bash que tome la salida de ispelly cuando trato de solicitar la entrada del usuario dentro del ciclo while, solo guarda la siguiente línea del archivo como entrada del usuario.

¿Cómo podría solicitar la entrada del usuario en el ciclo while?

ISPELL_OUTPUT_FILE="output.tmp";
INPUT_FILE=$1


ispell -l < $INPUT_FILE > $ISPELL_OUTPUT_FILE;

No puedes hacer eso en tu while. Necesita usar otro descriptor de archivo
