La instalación del repositorio de Epel en CentOS falla [cerrado]

Esto ha estado funcionando en mi vm vagabundo durante algunos meses sin ningún problema. No cambié nada, lo ha sido vagrant upy lo había hecho vagrant destroyvarias veces antes sin problemas. Pero ahora falla y no puedo descubrir cuál parece ser el problema. Ni siquiera puedo instalar vim.

@Burhan Ali tenía razón, parece ser un problema temporal con el repositorio EPEL.

Cambié mi /etc/yum.repos.d/epel.repopara usar el en baseurllugar del mirrorlistmencionado en esta respuesta y funciona ahora.

Para otras personas que llegan a esto a través de google, el problema también puede deberse a paquetes de seguridad desactualizados en CentOS. La solución para mí fue el equivalente de:

rpm -ev epel-release-6-8.noarch
yum update
rpm -ivh http://dl.fedoraproject.org/pub/epel/6/$(uname -i)/epel-release-6-8.noarch.rpm
