Puede usar la opción --simulate
o -s
, que le mostrará lo que APT hará cuando ejecute un comando sin hacer nada, por ejemplo ...
$ sudo apt remove -s file

Podemos ver que eliminar el file
paquete sería una muy mala idea ...
