Error de configuración de VirtualBox rcvboxdrv "Configuración de argumento incorrecto"

Después de actualizar el kernel, VirtualBox, como de costumbre, se quejó de que el controlador del kernel de VirtualBox Linux (vboxdrv) no está cargado y tuve que ejecutar el siguiente comando:

sudo /sbin/rcvboxdrv setup

Desafortunadamente, esta vez, la ejecución del rcvboxdrv setupmensaje falló Bad argument setup. Supongo que este es un error de regresión introducido en el reciente paquete VirtualBox en la página de Oracle.

¿Cómo solucionar el problema y poder ejecutar VirtualBox?

Para mí correr sudo apt-get install --reinstall virtualbox-5.0resolvió el problema.

Desde un comentario en el ticket , ejecute el siguiente comando:

sudo /usr/lib/virtualbox/vboxdrv.sh setup

en lugar del comando dado por VirtualBox.

Funciona, pero debe ejecutarse después de cada reinicio.

No tengo nada /usr/lib/virtualbox/en absoluto. Instalación de virtualbox nueva. Tengo un /usr/lib64/virtualbox/pero con no vboxdrv.sh. Instalado desde los repositorios de Fedora 24.

Hasta que esto se solucione, puede editar el /sbin/rcvboxdrvarchivo (por ejemplo, en una terminal usando el editor Nano vía sudo nano /sbin/rcvboxdrv) y agregar algunas líneas:

Tuve el mismo problema en Kubuntu 14.04.3 con VirtualBox 5.0.14. Ninguna de las respuestas anteriores funcionó, pero el comentario de @ Takkat sugiere

sudo apt-get install --reinstall virtualbox-5.0

Trabajó para solucionar el problema.

Tuve el mismo problema en Redhat7. Encontré una sugerencia en otro foro para ejecutar: /usr/lib/virtualbox/vboxdrv.sh setup Esto solucionó el problema. mi virtualbox está funcionando ahora.
