Xconfig xrandr badmatch

Recientemente instalé mi sistema operativo como mínimo, pero recibí un error inesperado al configurar la resolución de mi monitor. Parece un problema muy antiguo, pero esta vez hay algo más (creo).

  1. para instalar el entorno de escritorio: apt-get update,apt-get install xorg-core xserver-xorg-core gnome-core gdm3

  2. Para instalar grivers gráficos apt-get install build-essential nvidia-kernel-common linux-headers-$(uname -r), los ./NVIDIA-Linux-x86_64-304.64.run pasos anteriores parecen que todo está en la forma correcta.

  3. al conjunto de resolución: cvt 1440 900, xrandr --newmode xxx,xrandr --addmode VGA-0 xxx

entonces recibí ese error:

No sé qué información necesitas, y solo enumero algunos

modelo de tarjeta gráfica: nvidia gt630.

tamaño de memoria de la tarjeta gráfica: 512M ddr5.

monitor: phlips 190cw (1440x900, funciona bien en windows). Esta es mi configuración en Windows (no he instalado el controlador del monitor y Windows simplemente lo reconoce como 190g6)

Intenté forzar la resolución a 1440x900 mediante el uso nvidia-settings, después de reiniciar, la resolución cambió a 1440X1024 (nvidia-settings agregó una línea a xorg.conf Option "metamodes" "1440x1024 +0+0"). la pantalla se puede desplazar por el horizonte de esa manera:

También probé a extraer edid.bin(mediante el uso de nvidia-settings) y añadir Option "CustomEDID" "DFP-1:/etc/X11/edid.bin"al Section "Device"a xorg.conf. gracias a la publicación impresionanteFixing Ugly DVI/HDMI Displays due to EDID bugs on nVidia drivers , pero desafortunadamente tampoco funciona.

Tuve este problema de "BadMatch":

 X Error of failed request:  BadMatch (invalid parameter attributes)

Y lo resolvió editando xorg.confmanualmente. Agregue o corrija esta línea en esta sección del monitor:

HorizSync  30-82
VertRefresh  56-76

Guardar, reiniciar y listo. La resolución está bien. Supuse que ese problema estaba allí porque usé un adaptador D-sub a DVI. La pantalla tenía un conector D-Sub, mientras que la tarjeta era DVI. El problema solo estaba en el controlador nVidia de código cerrado; Nouveau estaba bien.

Esto funcionó para mí (convertidor VGA sobre DVI-I), pero cuando configuré mi monitor a 1680x1050 (forzando la resolución usando x-server) desplazó mi pantalla hacia la derecha unos 300 px. Solucioné esto volviendo a configurar mi frecuencia de actualización a 60 Hz (creo que x-server se configuró en 75 Hz automáticamente al cambiar la resolución).

Esto no hizo ninguna diferencia para mí, el error aún ocurrió después de cambiar HorizSync y VertRefesh.

Método 1 - Borrar el xorg.conf

Intente eliminar /etc/X11/xorg.conf, reinicie su ventana x e intente configurar la resolución con nvidia-settings nuevamente. Por lo general, la detección automática funciona perfectamente con un cable DVI. Pero no puedo encontrar la especificación del monitor en línea, así que no estoy seguro de si tiene un conector DVI.

Es un poco extraño que tenga un nuevo kernel 3.x pero un paquete X11 tan antiguo. Tal vez pueda considerar hacer apt-get update; apt-get dist-upgradepara actualizar todos sus paquetes.

He agregado la opción "Validación de modo" "NoDFPNativeResolutionCheck, NoVirtualSizeCheck, NoMaxPClkCheck, NoHorizSyncCheck, NoVertRefreshCheck, NoWidthAlignmentCheck" a mi archivo Xorg.conf.

Funciona bien para mi.
