Debería poder decirle al vinculador en qué directorio se encuentra su libX11 utilizando la variable de entorno LDFLAGS cuando ejecute configure. Así que primero limpie y ejecute LDFLAGS = "- L / usr / lib / x86_64-linux-gnu" ./configure ... Luego, debería poder compilar todo. Editar: LDFLAGS = y ./configure deben estar en la misma línea ...

Lo siguiente también permitirá que esto se compile correctamente al asegurarse de que las bibliotecas de 64 bits y 32 bits estén disponibles.

Descubrí que puede evitar este error fácilmente si puede permitirse no construir hslab

./configure --disable-hslab

Que es (creo) la única parte que realmente depende de usar X.

Intentando instalar HTK 3.5.1 en una nueva plataforma que ejecuta Ubuntu (técnicamente, en Docker), me encontré con el mismo problema que el OP. Espero que esto ayude a alguien…

En Ubuntu 14.04.3, pude compilar HTK usando:

./configure --without-x --disable-hslab

Sospecho que esta solución o ninguna tendría los mismos resultados, pero no me molesté en probar.

Para su información, esto también funcionó en macOS.

En Ubuntu 16.04 y 18.04, hice lo mismo pero también tuve que editar HLMTools/Makefile.inen L.77, donde reemplacé los ocho espacios en blanco con una pestaña, porque el compilador es más exigente.

Por supuesto, si necesitas HSLab, eso no te ayudará. Es posible que desee probar suerte con la versión más nueva de HTK , 3.5 (actualmente en versión beta).
