Quiero ver si hay una herramienta o script disponible que pueda usar para modificar el contenido del portapapeles sobre la marcha.

A menudo, cuando escribo código, me gustaría tomar una cadena de texto y convertirla en una babosa . En lugar de volver a escribir el contenido en formato slug, sería increíble si se cambiara a un slug al copiarlo.

Por ejemplo: "BBQ with Friends" → "bbq-with-friends"

¿Conoces alguna aplicación o Applescripts que pueda ayudar con esto? Muy apreciado.

tr -ces complemento y tr -sexprime múltiples guiones en guiones simples.

Tengo un script que realiza una acción similar en los nombres de archivo, aunque reemplazo los espacios con guiones bajos. Podrías usar algo como:

pbpaste | sed -e 's/ /-/g' | awk '{print tolower($0)}' | pbcopy

combinado con un poquito de applecript para formar:

do shell script "pbpaste | sed -e 's/ /-/g' | awk '{print tolower($0)}' | pbcopy"
