nic: Algo malvado sucedió! ffff

Estoy configurando un enrutador GNU / Linux con Debian Stretch (9.7) y antes de reiniciar el servidor, todo el tráfico de una interfaz a otra iba bien, pero después de eso, recibí un mensaje como este (tty):

enp1s6: Something Wicked happened! ffff.

Tengo un host en el mismo conmutador y la misma red, para fines de prueba, y básicamente, la LAN del enrutador no responde a las solicitudes de eco.

Parece que su NIC Sundance 10/100 es vieja, quizás demasiado vieja ...

Consulte https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=748973 (el módulo F16 Sundance 10/100 Ethernet se bloquea cuando se conecta al enrutador gigabit)

Puedes apostar, amigo. Por cierto, es bastante antiguo y admite 10/100. Acabo de poner otra NIC aquí y boom, comenzó a funcionar normalmente, sin cambiar una sola línea en ningún archivo de configuración, ni siquiera pelear con los módulos Kernel. Me quedaré con esta NIC aquí (chipset Accton Technology Corp). Gracias.

Según su salida de ethtool, noté que enp1s6 no informa que admite la negociación automática. ¿Está deshabilitado también en el dispositivo / puerto que está conectando? Si es posible, ajuste el dispositivo con el que se está conectando para habilitar la negociación automática. Si no tiene acceso a ese dispositivo, o no desea cambiarlo, es posible que deba forzar una velocidad / duplix en enp1s6.


Okay. Tiene sentido. Pero, ¿cómo hago eso (forzar la negociación automática en enp1s6)? Por cierto, eliminé esta NIC e instalé otra, que tiene negociación automática por defecto (según la ethtoolsalida de la nueva NIC), y todo funciona bien con el "Enrutador": con mi otro host en el lado de la LAN, yo Puede hacer ping a la LAN NIC del enrutador, llegando también a Internet.
