HDMI funciona en modo seguro, pero no mucho más

Tengo mi placa conectada a mi monitor como entrada HDMI. Puedo acceder al escritorio de Raspbian descomentando "hdmi_safe = 1" en config.txt. Sin embargo, me gustaría trabajar en una resolución que no me haga sangrar los ojos, por lo que he estado tratando durante los últimos días para encontrar la configuración correcta en config.txt, y me he dado por vencido. Cualquier ayuda sería genial. He intentado varios modos, pero no importa lo que intente, no obtengo ninguna imagen y lo siguiente de tvservice -s:

Tengo un viejo (al menos 15 años) Sharp Aquos LC-19A1E TV / monitor y una nueva revisión de 512Mb B Raspberry Pi. Con el original config.txt, apareció con una pantalla 1080i 60Hz. La resolución de pantalla en LXDE dijo algo así como 1860x ??? (olvidé). Estaba muy por encima de la resolución máxima descrita en mi manual de TV (1366x768).

Entonces trató de editar config.txt:

hdmi_group=2

y

hdmi_mode=81

sin efecto.

Luego, agregué este comando como primera línea en config.txt

hdmi_ignore_edid=0xa5000080

Y listo, funciona como un encanto. Resolución nativa y una vista nítida en mi televisor.

hdmi_ignore_edit=0xa5000080le dice al sistema que ignore la información EDID del dispositivo que le permite configurar cualquier modo DMT o CEA que desee.

Como @Iamyrus sugiere, poner hdmi_ignore_edid=0xa5000080en su /boot/config.txtarchivo.

Sin embargo, dado que el monitor Acer H243HX es nativo 1920x1080 y dado que el modo CEA 5 aparece en la lista cuando edita el bloque EDID de su pantalla, recomendaría configurar lo siguiente en su /boot/config.txt:

hdmi_group=1
hdmi_mode=16

También puede probar esto simplemente colocando hdmi_ignore_ediden su config.txt y luego ejecutando:

/opt/vc/bin/tvservice -m "CEA 16"

Según su información EDID, CEA 16 es:
