Este es un gran ejemplo. Al principio tuve algunos problemas para que funcionara. Mi error estaba relacionado con el tamaño de salida del archivo de 0 bytes. Comencé a depurar y el culpable resultó ser record.prepare (). No estaba configurando un nuevo archivo de salida para la grabadora, por lo que sobrescribía mi video existente cada vez que tocaba la pantalla para detener la grabación de video. Espero que esto ayude a alguien más :-) Por cierto, vale la pena mencionar que también debe agregar los permisos RECORD_AUDIO, CAMERA y WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE a su manifiesto para que este código de muestra funcione.

@REJH, se llama, cuando se crea la superficie, porque esta línea mHolder.addCallback(this);adjunta la clase de Actividad para manejar eventos de superficie. Puede ser que su IDE no pueda reconocer esta llamada, pero debería llamarse.

Como nota al margen, parece que hay un error en la API de Android o documentación defectuosa o tal vez soy simplemente estúpido. Los documentos de Google establecen claramente lo siguiente:

Nota: a partir de Android 4.0 (API nivel 14), las llamadas Camera.lock () y Camera.unlock () se administran automáticamente.

Después de luchar durante días literarios sin ningún éxito y muchos pequeños problemas como "errores de inicio", ¡decidí implementar manualmente el bloqueo y BAM! Todo funcionó bien.

El ejemplo anterior funcionará si está utilizando la cámara trasera. Si está utilizando la cámara frontal, tendrá que ajustar algunas cosas:

En primer lugar, deberá agregar un nuevo permiso en el manifiesto.

A diciembre de 2017, ha habido algunas actualizaciones, por ejemplo, el uso de android.hardware.Cameraestá en desuso ahora. Mientras que el más nuevo android.hardware.camera2viene con cosas útiles como a CameraManager.

Personalmente, me gusta mucho este ejemplo, que hace uso de esta API actual y funciona de maravilla: https://github.com/googlesamples/android-Camera2Video

También incluye pedirle al usuario los permisos necesarios al inicio y presenta una vista previa de video antes de comenzar la grabación de video.

(Además, el código me parece realmente hermoso (y esto es muy raro para mí ^^), pero esa es solo mi opinión subjetiva).
