La anulación de la cuadrícula del cliente de Magento _prepareCollection () no funciona

Tuve que anular el método _prepareCollection () de Mage_Adminhtml_Block_Customer_Grid y agregué las siguientes líneas

->addAttributeToSelect('cus_country')
->addAttributeToSelect('cus_state')

a:

                ->addAttributeToSelect('group_id')

                ->addAttributeToSelect('cus_state') // added 
                ->joinAttribute('billing_postcode', 'customer_address/postcode', 'default_billing', null, 'left')
                ->joinAttribute('billing_city', 'customer_address/city', 'default_billing', null, 'left')
                ->joinAttribute('billing_telephone', 'customer_address/telephone', 'default_billing', null, 'left')

y agregue estas 3 columnas en el _prepareColumns()siguiente

$statearray = Mage::getModel('directory/region')->getResourceCollection() ->addCountryFilter('IN')->load()->toOptionArray();
foreach($statearray as $states){
    $data_array[$states['value']] = $states['label'];
}

$this->addColumn('cus_state', array(
    'header'    => Mage::helper('customer')->__('State'),
    'width'     => '100',
    'type'   => 'options',
    'index'     => 'cus_state',
    'options' => $data_array,
));

El problema es que estas 3 columnas no se completan con los datos cuando están en el módulo reemplazado y si agrego el mismo código en el núcleo, estas 3 columnas se rellenan con los valores

Al final, llamas al método original con return parent::_prepareCollection();

Preparará la colección nuevamente con los parámetros predeterminados y anulará los suyos.

Llama al abuelo

return Mage_Adminhtml_Block_Widget_Grid::_prepareCollection();

en vez de

return parent::_prepareCollection();
