¿Cómo puedo obtener una vista previa de las fórmulas de TeX en línea en modos arbitrarios?

¿Cómo puedo obtener vistas previas de TeX dentro de modos distintos de AUCTeX o org-mode? Me encantaría ver las ecuaciones de TeX en jabber, erc y markdown. Si alguna vez me cambio a Emacs por correo electrónico, presumiblemente me gustaría ver vistas previas allí también.

Intenté reutilizar AUCTeX preview-latex pero fallé y me rendí.

El modo Org también proporciona la misma característica . Resulta que weechat logró reutilizarlo para mostrar automáticamente la vista previa del látex.

Extraje la parte de vista previa de weechat en un archivo separado que puede obtener en este repositorio . También está disponible como pxpaquete en MELPA (lo acabo de enviar).

Hay 4 puntos de entrada que se pueden llamar de forma interactiva:

• px-preview: renderiza todos los fragmentos de látex en el búfer actual.
• px-preview-region: renderizar fragmentos en la región.
• px-remove: eliminar todas las vistas previas del búfer actual (restaurar el texto).
• px-toggle: alterna la visualización de vistas previas en el búfer actual.

Mientras funcione la vista previa del modo org, este debería funcionar.

Como el código aún es bastante pequeño, lo incluiré a continuación, pero instale el paquete o use el repositorio.

También hay uno texfrag.elque funciona fuera de la caja para comentarios de doxygen en prog-mode.

Puede instalar texfrag.eldesde melpa-stablevia M-x package-install RET texfrag RET.

Ejecutar M-x texfrag-mode RETpara activar la vista previa. Obtiene el menú Vista previa con todos los elementos del paquete de vista previa de AUCTeX.

Tenga en cuenta que eso texfragtambién funciona para editar la fuente html, eww y org-mode.
