¿Es esta una forma estándar de marcar chips como rechazos?
Editar: compré dos para poner en RAID-1, porque no confío demasiado en ellos, y el otro tiene marcas idénticas:
Este usa flash Micron, aunque la marca es idéntica.
En este punto, solo puedo pensar que debe ser un intento muy, muy, muy ineficaz para ocultar los números de parte flash.
Las partes de micras son MT29F128G08CBECBH6-12:C
, que es una parte de 16 GB, por lo que hay 64 GB de almacenamiento en bruto.
Las otras partes tienen la marca "Spectek" , que aparentemente es una subsidiaria de micras de la que nunca había oído hablar. Parecen ser FBNL95B71KDBABH6-10AL
, que también son partes de 16 GByte.

La primera de las unidades pasó sudo badblocks -b 4096 -c 4096 -s -w /dev/sdm
sin error, por lo que aparentemente la capacidad es real y son buenas para al menos una escritura.
