Recuperando todos los PK y FK

Tengo una gran base de datos que necesito para extraer todas las claves primarias y claves externas de cada tabla.

Tengo pgAdmin III.

¿Hay alguna manera de hacer esto automáticamente y no revisar cada tabla manualmente?

Puede usar la función pg_get_constraintdef(constraint_oid)en una consulta como la siguiente:

SELECT conrelid::regclass AS table_from
     , conname
     , pg_get_constraintdef(oid)
FROM   pg_constraint
WHERE  contype IN ('f', 'p ')
AND    connamespace = 'public'::regnamespace  -- your schema here
ORDER  BY conrelid::regclass::text, contype DESC;

Resultado:

 table_from | conname    | pg_get_constraintdef
------------+------------+----------------------
 tbl        | tbl_pkey   | PRIMARY KEY (tbl_id)
 tbl        | tbl_col_fk | FOREIGN KEY (col) REFERENCES tbl2(col) ON UPDATE CASCADE
...

Devuelve todas las claves primarias y externas para todas las tablas en el esquema dado, ordenadas por nombre de tabla, PK primero.

No es necesario analizar pg_get_constraintdef(), solo use columnas de pg_constrainttabla para obtener otros detalles ( los documentos ).

Aquí constraint_typepuede ser:

  • p - clave primaria ,
  • f - clave foránea ,
  • u - único ,
  • c - verifique la restricción ,
  • x - exclusión ,
  • ...

Los resultados están ordenados por schemay table.
